Hakuei is a man of innumerable projects. He is a musician: the vocalist in PENICILLIN, machine, nano and on his solo career. He doesn't only write lyrics but he has also composed songs. He has also tried acting: he starred as Hashimoto Takeshi, a frustrated salary man, in the movie 30~thirty; and as a Chinese Mafia boss in Kisu to Kizu. Then he is a model for the fashion label Black Peace Now, and hence he has often appeared in the Gothic&Lolita Bible. Moreover, he draws manga. His series Susume!! Tonosama, which practically makes fun of his fellow band mates, has been published in the music magazine Fool’s Mate.
